The Crowley city in Texas will benefit from another access point to its trail system as Toyota partnered with the city’s Council in order to create one near one of its dealerships.
Developers planned to create a trail extension onto a Toyota dealership at the corner of E. Hidden Creek Parkway and Interstate 35W. The plan includes a trailhead at the dealership, four parking lots for residents who want to drive there and access the trail as well as access for users to the facility’s restrooms.
“Citizens using the trail could go inside the building, see some displays on [Toyota's] environmental efforts, and yes, maybe [Toyota] will sell a few cars,” said community development director Kevin Lasher.
The plan comes as a result of Toyota dealership’s potential negative impact on the trails, thus re-enhancing its commitment towards ecology and a better life.
