While Toyota is focused on feeding the poor and giving the worlds ecologic transportation solutions, its luxury division Lexus is committed to feed the other important human component - its soul.
While not everyone agrees that the human body has a soul, Lexus still tries to make us feel fizzy on the inside through its new design seen on the whole vehicle range.

But that is not all, as the automaker also encourages young designers and artists to promote their ideas and concepts, helping the best ones to become real. The recently opened second Lexus Design Award contest focuses on attracting more than 1,300 designers to submit their ideas. The 12 best of them will be showcased at the 2014 Milan Design Week next April and the two overall winners will benefit from financial support to transform their designs into prototypes.

Learn more about the contest as Toyota Motor Corporation managing officer and president of Lexus International Mark Templin gives us more details about in the video bellow. You can also see Arthur Huang in the next video, a young designer focused on creating interesting and useful items from recycled materials.
