The Japanese automaker has infused its B-segment hatch with a bit of extra appeal, launching the new Mazda2 Venture Edition in Britain, on sale for the OTR price of £12,995.
This is among the best equipped Mazda2 cars you can have, as it comes as standard with 16-inch gunmetal alloy wheels, sports styling kit, front fog lamps, privacy glass and a rear bumper sports trim.

The cabin of the Mazda2 has been enhanced with premium appearance and features like Sanyo TomTom navigation system with a 5.8-inch touch screen, integrated Bluetooth hands-free kit, climate control air-conditioning and electric rear windows.

“The availability of the new Mazda2 Venture Edition, with its unique combination of advanced technology, sports styling, a premium interior and great added value, will attract new consumers to our brand,” comments Peter Allibon, Sales Director, Mazda UK.  “In its latest form, Mazda2 combines superior ride comfort, superb handling and quality with the stylish, spirited and fun-to-drive attributes for which Mazda is renowned.  No surprise that it is the best-selling model in our range.”

Just 1,500 examples of the Venture Edition will be made, finished in the two unique colours – Dolphin Grey Mica and Burgundy Red Mica and four from the regular Mazda2 range – Crystal White Pearlescent, Brilliant Black, Aquatic Blue Mica and True Red.

The car is only available with a 1.3-liter MZR petrol engine with 84 PS. This pushes the car to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a leisurely 13.6 seconds.
