With brand new engines and a new architecture, the Maserati Ghibli is pretty much covered for a premium drivetrain. But that and a nice interior still mean nothing if you can't see out the car on a cold day or are uncomfortably hot in the summer.
After all, owning such a prestigious Italian brand of car has to come very close to customer expectations, which are set high by German cars like the Audi A6 or BMW 5 Series.
To ensure the new Ghibli sedan can take both the hot and the cold, Maserati engineers subjected it to harsh weather testing in a wind tunnel that can replicate different driving conditions.
This video reveals the work undertaken in the climatic wind tunnel in which unusual weather conditions are recreated. The tunnel is able to generate temperature shifts close to 100°C (from below -30°C to more than 60°C).
