Who said German were too serious? The reality is that they have a sort of engineering humor that we don’t get. How else would you explain the fact that they stuck a man holding a torch in a wind tunnel in Munich.
Seemingly, these shenanigans also have a serious point to them, as the symbol of the games will begin its 70 day Olympic Relay around the UK soon, and BMW’s test center can replicate some extreme weather conditions.

With a temperature range of -20C to +55C, BMW can replicate the Arctic Tundra and the Sahara Desert, while the wind speeds of up to 280 km/h are even higher than those achieved by hurricanes.

Of course, BMW would not be doing this if they hadn’t signed up as the official partner of the Olympic games, a huge marketing opportunity for them.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
