The London 2012 Olympics are approaching and the athletes that will demonstrate what “mind over matter” means have just received a good luck wish in the form of the adjacent video, which shows a 2012 BMW M5 drifting on the beach in Wales.
The clip was created by the British division of the carmaker to support the BMW London 2012 Performance Team athletes. Precision driver Wolfgang Weber makes full use of the new M5’s smart rear differential - the one BMW claims is so good that allows the M5 to make due without xDrive, convincing the car to dance on the wet Pendine Sands.
