Since long wheelbase models are very appreciated in China, it was a no-brainer for Infiniti to launch the long wheelbase version of its M in Beijing. It will go on sale in China starting in June and will be available with two engine options.
The M Long Wheelbase features a 3.5-liter V6 mated to an electric motor in the M35hL, giving out a total power output of 360 hp. The lesser powered version is the M25L. It gets its power from a 2.5-liter V6 with 232 hp.
The car gets 5.9 inches (14.3 cm) of extra length, translating into improved knee room for the demanding Chinese businessman who likes to be chauffeured around rather than take the wheel himself. With the Chinese car market expanding at an ever increasing rate, the M Long Wheelbase will definitely make an impact on the luxury car market despite the fact that it still can't match its European rivals just yet.
