Ford’s F-Series family of trucks needs no presentation. On the market since, well, forever, the range has something to offer for every need. In the heavy-duty segment, the carmaker is fielding the F-250 in XL trim for the princely sum of $34,035. But you could easily get an F-250 that is far more expensive, considerably older, and arguably a lot cooler.
All you have to do is head over to Google and ask it to find you custom pickup truck dealers. Once the engine fires up its search bots, your screen will be flooded with results, and you’ll be faced with the daunting task of going through all of them.

The truck in its present condition is the result of some serious work that saw it being taken apart and remade. Between the two stages, the bodywork was caressed and painted dark green, the brake and suspension hardware rebuilt or, where needed, replaced, and the interior brought back to shape.
Riding on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch tires as part of a 4-inch (101-mm) lift kit, the truck moves along under the power provided by a modified 400ci (6.5-liter) engine linked to a C6 transmission. The total mileage on this pickup is of a little over 15,000 miles (24,000 km), but we’re told just test miles have been added since the build was completed.
The mostly stock look of the truck, coupled with all the modern fancy hardware added, make for one expensive build. How expensive? That would be $49,900, enough to buy a brand new F-250 XL and still be left with enough money to get yourself a small sedan.
