Commercials about original car parts are becoming hilarious recently. Have no idea why, but I'm going to find out right after I finish the formula for winning the lottery. In the meantime, we should check out a few Land Rover commercials that explain why you should never use copycat car parts on your beloved 4x4.
The idea is simple: you take some of the meanest, most respected animals on the planet and make them sound like they inhaled helium or just had a personality change.

My personal favorite is the one of the eagle that screams like a goat. I just called it the hawk goat for the title of the story because I loved that Old Spice commercial and that Taylor Swift video with screaming goats added over it.

Just as funny is the one where a crocodile barks like a Chiwawa. Because nobody takes those little dogs seriously, it was the perfect animal voice for the killer of the Nile river. So what did they choose for the lion, a cat? No, they used the clucking of a chicken.

In case you're wondering why you've never seen these videos until today, know that they come from Land Rover South Africa, not the UK. They were created by Y&R under creative officer Graham Lang and art director Rowan Foxcroft.

If you use your Land Rover as a "Chelsea tractor" to take the kids to school, having the right parts might not be important. But if the Defender is needed to protect endangered species or carry a dignitary, these funny animals could make a world of difference. We've even heard of some people having to fix their air suspension three times because of bad parts.
