Lamborghini is one of the greatest names in the auto industry. The Italians have been at it for a little more than half a century, and during this time, all the models they made had something revolutionary about them.
The Veneno (that’s the Spanish, not Italian word for venom, because Lamborghini likes to use powerful names for its models), for instance, was an Aventador-based monster that at the time of its introduction was also one of the most expensive production cars in the world – very few of them were made, and each was priced at more than $4 million.
Just like all the other Lamborghinis ever made, this one too had four wheels. But what if at one point Lambo decided it's time it made some motorcycles? After all, the raging bull does own one of the most important bike makers on the planet, Ducati. And what if, when deciding to do so, it would base the bike on the Veneno?
Those are some of the questions our friends over at Australian insurance company Budget Direct answered with their latest set of renderings, showing how two-wheelers made by 7 major supercar makers, including Lamborghini, would look like.
The renderers call their creation a two-wheeled "Aventador on steroids," but given how this is only an exercise of the imagination, no actual powertrain details are provided, leaving it up to each of us to imagine what could push this thing along.
Visually though, we can see the resemblance with the Veneno in the many cuts the bodywork displays, the boomerang design of the split headlight, or the overall get-out-of-my-way attitude.
In the real world, there may not be any Lambo-made motorcycles, but the custom industry does have its share of tributes. The last one we talked about was the Harley-Davidson-based RS Lambo coming from German custom shop Thunderbike.
