Lamborghini Huracan Iconic Drive Event Celebrates V10-Powered Supercar in All Its Glory

To pay even more tribute to the iconic model, the Sant'Agata Bolognese company organized a journey in its homeland that brought together several Huracans. The list comprised the EVO Spyder, Tecnica, STO, and the Sterrato, which is the most versatile member of the family with its jacked-up design, plastic cladding, additional lights, dedicated wheels and tires, and a few other tweaks.

Traveling the Apennine roads, the convoy departed from Bologna and reached Palazzo di Varignana for a special dinner on the Royal Train. The second day saw the aforementioned Huracans drive through Castel del Rio and Giogo Pass to Villa Campestri for extra-virgin olive oil tasting, continuing to Forte dei Marmi.

Dinner was hosted at Villa Alpebella, which the Bocelli family owns. The restoration was recently completed, and visiting it in the company of Andrea Bocelli, his wife Veronica, and his son Matteo is said to have been "the most exclusive moment of the tour." The following day, the VIP guests visited the Valsora white marble quarry and stopped on the Taverna dello Scoiattolo on the Cioccorally route. They then continued the tour that ended after they crossed the Abetone pass in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Lamborghini's home.

As we already told you, super sports car enthusiasts can no longer purchase a brand-new Huracan straight from Lamborghini. Scheduled to end later this year, the entire production is fully allocated. Thus, regardless of what version they're interested in, the best chance of landing a low-mileage Huracan, or perhaps even a brand-new one, is to search the second-hand market for that perfect example. Nevertheless, they should expect to pay a hefty premium, as vendors are usually in this game to make money.

Lambo's Huracan series will come to an end in 2024 after ten years in production and over 25,000 units sold so far. The model's successor is being prepared as we speak and will feature an electrified powertrain, which is expected to mix a V8 with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of one or perhaps more electric motors. The supercar's total output is believed to stand at around 800 horsepower, and just like its larger sibling, the Revuelto, which replaced the Aventador, the yet-unnamed machine should be able to travel for a few miles on zero emissions.

We will find out everything there is to know about the Huracan's replacement towards the end of the year, which is when the official unveiling should be hosted. In the meantime, more prototypes will be snapped testing, and as the fine-tuning phase advances, the camouflage should gradually come off.
