In the market for a Koenigsegg Agera RS? You’re too late for a new one.
The Swedish hypercar company has announced that all the available Agera RS units have received their respective orders and deposits. The first production Agera RS was shown at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, where it was also delivered to its owner. Just ten months afterwards, all the Agera RS units have been spoken for.

This makes the Agera RS the fastest selling model in the Swedish company’s history. We have to note that Koenigsegg will only be making 25 Agera RS cars, so there’s no volume battle with Toyota coming soon.

According to the Swedish company, demand was higher than the maximum number of units produced, but there’s no intention to extend the number of available units. Countries like Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Canada, and the United States of America have customers for the new Agera RS. However, many markets didn’t get the chance to receive this car because of its limited production numbers.

When describing the Agera RS, Christian von Koenigsegg says he’s extremely proud of the car for the fact that it shares all the core values and features of the brand. Furthermore, Christian von Koenigsegg feels that the performance, road feel, and responsiveness have an unmatched level of technical sophistication.

Out of the 25 available cars, 10 were pre-sold before the car was publicly shown. At the end of last year, four Agera RS cars were completed, and other six were on the production line.

All the remaining Agera RS models will be made during this year. The last cars will be shipped next year, Koenigsegg announces. According to previous statements made by the company, with the orders registered in 2015 for the Agera RS and the Regera, the Koenigsegg factory is fully booked until the end of 2017.
