Kia UK Offers Substantial Savings on Small Cars

Kia RioKia Picanto
The new generation Kia Picanto will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in just a few months and will go on sale in most major markets soon after that. It will offer a choice of four fuel-efficient engines in Europe. But, until the fresh model arrives, the South Korean carmaker has to squeeze as many sales as possible from its current model lineup.

In the UK, the company has extended its popular seven year switch program and increased the savings by £500 on some of their smaller models. Customers with a seven year old car that has traveled less than 100,000 miles (about 160,000 km) can swap their cars for either a Picanto 1.0 ‘1’ from just £5,370 or a wider choice from the facelifted Rio range, starting from just £6,540.

For British customers with no car to trade in, the Rio is available from just £7,995 for the Rio 1.4 ‘1’ or from £8,995 for the top spec Rio Graphite, which comes with 15” alloys, front fog lights, premium upholstery, leather steering wheel, air conditioning, six airbags and ESC.

The deals and other offers on the whole Kia model range are available at all Kia’s 160 dealerships across the UK.

Seven year switch details:
  • To qualify, the vehicle must have been first registered in the UK on or before 30th June 2004
  • It must have been owned by the customer for a minimum of 6 months at 31st March 2011.
  • The car must have a valid MOT at point of order of the new vehicle.
  • The part exchange vehicle must show less than 100,000 miles.
  • Excludes imports and insurance write-offs
