This is the Red Rock Special Edition of the Soul city dweller, the seventh such jazzed-up vehicle to come from the Korean automaker. As the name might have already revealed, it’s a car that’s inspired by “the beautiful rock formations found in the Southwest United States”
The Soul has been finished in a new shade of paint that Kia has dubbed “Canyon”, which follows the recent trend for brown paintjobs. This is paired up with gloss black trim in the fascia and mirror housings. The car is also reasonably well equipped for its $20,600 price tag (not including destination charge), since it comes with black leather trim and brown cloth seats, plus automatic climate control and heated seats.

"The wildly popular Soul has been a game-changer for Kia since it arrived in 2009, and our series of special editions over the past three years have added individualism and exclusivity to an already fun and youthful vehicle," said Michael Sprague, vice president of marketing and communications, KMA. "Style and flair are key to Soul's success, and the Red Rock Special Edition, which has plenty of both, will help drive sales into 2012."

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
