Kia c'eed Ranked High in the 2010 JD Power Survey

The Kia cee’d has managed to rank 4th overall in the 2010 J.D. Power and Associates Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study (VOSS). The vehicle, which has just made its J.D. Power survey debut, obtained a score of 83.8 percent, finishing just behind vehicles belonging to premium carmakers such as Lexus and Jaguar.

“Designed and manufactured in Europe the cee’d was the first model to benefit from Kia’s recent major quality offensive. The Soul urban crossover, Venga B-segment MPV and Sorento SUV, all launched since the cee’d, have also been part of this excellence programme.  Kia is confident that these, and future, models will enhance its growing enviable reputation for quality over the coming years,” stated the press release.

In addition to that, the cee’d topped the “Lower Medium Car” segment, overtaking vehicles that have a tradition in the segment, such as the BMW 1 Series and the Skoda Octavia.

“Kia demonstrated its commitment to quality by launching the cee’d, in 2007, with a seven year warranty as standard.  The entire Kia range is available with a seven year warranty since 1 January 2010,” stated the press release.
