Superyacht designers are constantly testing the limits of possibility with out-of-the-box designs that foster change and growth by experimenting with form and function. Concepting is an essential activity for the creative minds in the industry, allowing them to either bring future owners' dreams to life or simply envision the future of yachting.
Milan, Italy-based designer Enzo Manca, the man behind the UAE One - one of the quirkiest designs we've seen lately, has unveiled a new megayacht concept with a striking exterior style that blends timeless classic looks with sharp futuristic lines.

Christened Juno, the new 109-meter (358-foot) concept does pay homage to the elegance of 1980s vessels with a long, forward-projecting bow, but it also paves the way for innovative design paradigms with a sporty profile and a revolutionary hull that strays away from conventional yacht design. Moreover, it boasts lavish interiors and is envisioned with a slew of luxury amenities meant to provide the owner and their guests with a private and comfortable retreat.

The designer's aim with the slender design of the bow was to create an expensive area forward that would allow unobstructed views of the surrounding ocean. Successfully blending distinctive aesthetics and functionality, Juno's bow doubles as a spacious helicopter pad, while the maneuvring area has been strategically positioned on the lower level of the foredeck.

Spanning seven decks, this conceptual yacht is massive, but its slender, streamlined silhouette evokes a sense of speed without even being in motion, further highlighting its avant-garde appeal.

Designed as the ultimate space for leisure and relaxation, the aft area of the megayacht features an expansive beach club arranged on two levels. The upper level includes a large swimming pool, a vast U-shaped sunbathing area for up to 15 people, and a large bar. Two parallel staircases flank the pool and lead upwards, where a few more sunpads are perched on a waterfall. It is the perfect spot for enjoying the sun and the views.

The lower section of the beach club area is fitted with a bar and seating areas. Two large bulwarks open up on both sides to create lateral terraces over the water, transforming the entire space into a unified area for socializing.

Enzo Manca only revealed a few renderings of the interior, but the same meticulous attention to detail can be observed, making Juno stick out in the realm of luxury yachting. The interior design blends retro influences reminiscent of the 1980s style with modern design elements. As a result, we see a combination of glossy surfaces, neutral colors, and chrome details, all contributing to an atmosphere of nostalgia.

In terms of accommodation, Juno can welcome up to 16 guests onboard, along with 36 crew members. The owner's master suite is located on the fourth deck and is envisioned with an ensuite bathroom and a private relaxation area with plush sofas and a piano. Oversized windows will allow the owner always to feel connected to the sea.

The same is valid for all the guests stepping on board Juno, as the main saloon will also feature panoramic windows, along with expansive sofas and a well-appointed bar.

Since Juno is just a conceptual vessel, no details have been unveiled regarding propulsion and performance, but the designers did mention that it is envisioned with a brand-new electronic anchoring system designed to protect the seabed and provide reliable mooring in all conditions.
