As an actor that is renown for taking his roles very seriously, Jared Leto will surely surprise with every appearance. The Oscar actor was recently pictured driving his car around town and even though we kind of expected him to be different, we have to admit it was a surprise to see what the actor’s car looks like.
Whether you’re a fan of the music Leto creates along his brother as the main songwriter for Thirty Seconds to Mars, or you really enjoy the fellow’s talent in acting, one thing is certain: Jared is quite popular. Believe it or not, the man is 43, but it wouldn’t seem he’s about to turn onto the grown-ups act yet.
Like most of you, we started following Leto’s movies ever since his portrayal as a heroin addict in Requiem for a Dream, but it was only 15 years later he’d earn the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in Dallas Buyers Club. Jared is considered to be a method actor, known for his constant devotion to and research of his roles. Word in the industry is he often remains completely in character for the duration of the shooting schedules of his films, even to the point of adversely affecting his health.
Now, it’s true that he is the lead singer of a rock band, but who would have expected Leto to be an old-truck driver. He owns and 'pilots' a Ford Bronco painted with bright orange flames, you know, the type of car regular surfers own or kids dream of.
Well, there you go, some people seem to have found a way to keep their feet on the ground even after getting super famous. We say good for him!
