When you make British Independent Film Award winner James McAvoy and Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Television Movie winner Mark Ruffalo loosen up and act goofy, they sure will bring out the great laughs. So that is exactly what The Graham Norton Show’s host managed to challenge the two actors when he got them each a unicycle.
The hilarious prank was put together by the famous TV host Graham Norton on the latest episode of the famous late-night talk show. Ruffalo and McAvoy have once more showed their fans that being top notch actors doesn’t mean they can’t fool around like clowns on live television.

What everybody expected to be a funny disaster turned out to be quite a show considering not only did the Hollywood stars keep things under control, but they even had a lot of fun while at it. And so did we while watching them acting like true entertainers.
After all, isn’t the unicycle designed exactly for that? Well, not really, at least not in recent times.

It is believed the unicycle stems from the popularity of the penny-farthing during the late 19th century. Since the pedal and cranks were connected directly to the front axle, the rear wheel would go up in the air, so riders later discovered they could dispense the smaller wheel and just ride the front wheel and handlebars.

It was only during the late 1980s some extreme sportsmen took an interest in the unicycle and modified it so they could engage in off-road or even mountain unicycling. In fact, we recently reported about the popular base for mountain bikers who ride the extensive network of trails in Moab, Grand County, Utah. It turns out the coolest thing nowadays is to go on similar risky trails around the globe while riding the one-wheeler.

Everything has to be extreme nowadays, doesn’t it?
