Mostly know for its cars and motorcycles, Honda also provides a wide range of power equipment, including snowblowers, hedgetrimmers, lawnmowers... basically all you need for a busy Saturday afternoon in your back yard.
In fact, the Japanese automaker is quite famous for its lawnmowers and, as of now, it can brag about putting its badge on the world’s fastest lawnmower ever built. Dubbed Mean Mower and developed with the guys over at Top Gear, the ride-on mower can reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in only four seconds and can reach a top speed of 130 mph (209 km/h).

How’s that possible you may ask? Well, this bespoke mower sits on a chassis made of 4130 chromoly and boasts 109 HP thanks to a 1.0-liter VTR Firestorm engine. It also has a paddle-shifted six-speed transmission, ATV wheels and a grass bag reworked as a fuel tank. The ultimate lawnmower? You’re damn right it is!

"Our brief was very straightforward - we wanted a super-fast lawnmower which retained the look of a mower, but above all else, it needed to still cut grass. Honda is a great believer in pushing boundaries… and we love a challenge!" said Honda UK’s Ellie Ostinelli.
