Honda has just announced that it will be bringing a limited edition model of the Civic, called the Ti. It is based on the high-spec SE model, yet it is £1,175 cheaper, at £16,995. It is powered by the same 1.8-liter petrol engine, which develops the same 140 hp.
It comes with air conditioning, electric windows and mirrors, as well as USB and MP3-compatible audio system as standard. This is complimented on the inside by a leather-clad steering wheel and gear knob, as well as Bluetooth connectivity.
The Ti will only be available with three exterior paint finishes: Milano Red, White Orchid Pearl and Alabaster Silver Metallic. To complete the look of the exterior, the Ti gets color-coded wheelarches and special 17-inch rims, which are inspired by those of Honda’s British Touring Car Championship race car.
The previous Civic Ti was limited to just 500 examples, but judging by that car’s success, Honda will undoubtedly offer more of them this time.
