The new Honda Civic sedan that might seem a bit familiar to US consumers has also been launched in Thailand earlier this month. Style-wise the car is more similar to the models sold in North America than to the version that preceded it.
A new feature to the car is the availability of push start keyless entry for the more expensive models. The Civic also has a strange pair of reflector strips that ling the lights to the license plate at the back.

As with the previous generation, the engines on offer include a 1.8-liter i-VTEC with 141 horsepower. Meanwhile the new 2.0-liter SOHC unit tuned for economy, since it only offers 144 horsepower. Both come with a five-speed manual. The only trim for the bigger engine is the 2.0 EL with Navigation.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
