French carmaker Citroen has announced a roster of cars which it's bringing to this year's Geneva Motor Show. Among them, there's mention of a brand new C1 hatchback, the sister model to the Peugeot 108 and Toyota Aygo.
Other than the fact that it's being revealed in Geneva, we know absolutely nothing official from Citroen. But, the C1 has not one but two sister cars, so figuring out its secrets will be pretty simple.
It's based on a new platform and will weigh just 840 kg. Being 3.47m long and 1.62m wide, the C1 will be 70mm shorter than the Fiat 500. However, it will be available with five doors and seating for four people. Cargo space should be somewhere in the region of 200 to 250 liters.
The powertrains will like carry over from the Peugeot 108, meaning a choice between a 68 hp 1-liter e-VTi equipped with a five-speed or optional automatic and the 1.2-liter PureTech VTi with 82 hp.
