SEAT rolled out at Frankfurt the new IBZ concept, a model which previews the company's future family-sized vehicle that will go on sale in Europe in mid-2010. The Spanish manufacturer applied a series of unique exterior and interior upgrades, following the now popular SEAT Arrow Design.
As you can see for yourselves in the adjacent photos, the bonnet is featuring a running edge while the headlights boast diamond-shaped interiors and rely on LED technology with light guides. There's a new center grille, with honeycomb slats and aluminium surround, as well as rectangular air vents similar to those seen on the Ibiza Cupra.
The car is shoed with low profile 235/35 tires and five double-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels, with an embossed S on the center.
Inside, the IBZ Concept boasts newly-designed seats and integrated headrests upholstered with a combination of leather and suede in the same color as the dashboard. The four-spoke steering wheel is covered in leather and suede, with the S letter in the center and IBZ designation on the lower spoke.
The four circular air vents on the dashboard are encased in aluminum. The instrument panel provides an analogue and digital speed display, with navigation information, trip computer and other controls placed in the middle.
"It will be on the market in 2010, as the company continues its new product offensive which is making the Spanish brand’s range the youngest on the market. In the year of the Ibiza’s 25th anniversary, the newest addition to the range underlines the car’s segment-leading quality, design and workmanship," SEAT said in a release.
Curiously, there are no details regarding the engine, but more details might be released in the near future as the company is working on the production model.
