Opel has just unveiled their RAK Concept electric vehicle at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show, a model that has “production potential” and could change the way we see urban driving.
It’s a lot like Audi and VW’s duo of electric vehicles, but it’s different in so many ways. For starters, it’s got seating for two, one directly behind the other, and the wheels at the back are much closer together, much like some scooters with two wheels at the back are today.

The concept, which is inspired by the Ampera, will offer a top speed of 75 mph (120 km/h) an a driving range of 60 miles (97 km). “The concept has the potential to create a new class of light-weight, zero-emissions electric vehicles in the UK and Europe," according to Opel.
