Opel and Vauxhall have just announced that they will unveil an impressive EV concept at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show, with the vehicle offering a hefty "production potential".
It seems that the concept, which will be a two-seater, with the passenger siting behind the driver, will be an affordable one, but also be aimed at a young, dynamic audience.
The concept, which is inspired by the Ampera, will offer a top speed of 75 mph (120 km/h) an a driving range of 60 miles (97 km).
Here's what its creators had to say about it: "Yet despite its aesthetic appeal, the concept will be practical, affording two seats in a tandem layout, and its light weight – around a third of a small modern car’s – would allow it to be agile and fun to drive. Inspired by the Ampera, the concept has the potential to create a new class of light-weight, zero-emissions electric vehicles in the UK and Europe."
