The all-new Ford Focus Electric will go on sale in the United Kingdom with a price tag starting from £33,500, Autocar reports, adding that deliveries are scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of the year.
Before reaching its future customers, the Ford Focus Electric will be showcased at the 2013 Low Carbon Vehicle Event which open this week at the Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire.
Visitors will be able to drive the the production version of the Focus Electric EV, as well as other Blue Oval-badged eco-friendly cars, such as the 1.0-liter EcoBoost powered B-MAX, Fiesa and Focus, the Fiesta ECOnetic, Focus ECOnetic and the diesel Transit Custom van.
According to Autocar, Ford is also planning to bring a hybrid version of the Mondeo in the United Kingdom, but the sedan won’t go on sale until late 2014 or early 2015.
