Scheduled to be unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show next month as the Opel Insignia Sports Tourer OPC, the Vauxhall VXR SuperSports is now available to order in the United Kingdom.
Claimed to be Britain’s “fastest car you can buy under £30,000”, the 2014 Vauxhall VXR SuperSport starts at £29,749 OTR for the Hatch and £31,049 for the Sports Tourer.

Fitted with signature VXR elements such as the distinctive “saber-tooth” detailing at the front and the tailpipe trim integrated into the rear valence, the Insignia VXR also comes with improved adaptive all-wheel drive chassis, updated ESP and damper software. Inside, the vehicle sports an all-new instrument panel and central console with 8-inch touchscreen, 3D navigation and voice control.

As far as performance is concerned, the new Insignia VXR SuperSport is able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds (6.1 seconds for the Sports Tourer) and a top speed of 170 mph.
