Fisker is trying its best to bring the Ocean from Europe to America. In doing so, it prioritizes customers living primarily in California and neighboring states. If you're an early supporter of the promising carmaker living elsewhere, don't fret – there is good news for you too!
The all-electric crossover SUV segment is getting pretty crowded. After the Polestar 3 joins the American car market, we will have over 10 options to choose from. But if you have already decided on supporting Fisker's endeavor in this sector, then here's the good news – the Ocean is coming!

The Los Angeles-based automaker told its eagerly-awaiting buyers that it is accelerating deliveries. Hooray! But there's something you must be aware of. Those living on the West Coast (predominantly in California) receive the better part of the currently available stock, while those living near the US border with the Atlantic Ocean are getting what falls through the cracks.

Fisker says the process will expand stateside "within the coming weeks." The deliveries aren't happening as fast as the company would have liked because the vehicle is made in Austria. The work is done by the same contract manufacturer that produces the iconic G-Wagen – Magna Steyr.

Since Fisker's first car – the Karma – was riddled with manufacturing issues, this is excellent news for everyone involved in the EV maker's success.

The good-looking sedan was made in a former GM plant in Delaware by the bankrupt and now Chinese-owned Fisker Automotive. The new owners renamed the company Karma Automotive, which allowed designer Henrik Fisker to resurrect his lifelong dream and make a great vehicle through Fisker Inc.

Customers awaiting their Ocean crossovers were informed via email that the company is keeping closely in touch with its logistics partners. That's how it ensures more and more buyers get their vehicles as fast as possible. Fisker also thanks its supporters for being patient and tells them that new delivery information will reach them as more models arrive in the US.

The promising startup was proactive when the changes to the EV tax credit were imminent and ensured that convinced buyers could benefit from this perk.

The launch edition of the crossover SUV has been sold out for a while. But it's not that surprising, considering only 5,000 units were made. The all-wheel-drive Ocean One had a starting price of $68,999.

It enjoys an EPA-rated range of 360 miles and boasts a plethora of cool features. The crossover comes with a solar roof that can improve real-world range by about five miles every 24 hours, the possibility to disconnect the rear axle to improve efficiency, a revolving center screen, a premium sound system, and a digital rear-view mirror.

If you want a similar vehicle, you must "settle" for the Ocean Extreme. It has features similar to the One, except for a couple of exclusive ones, like the 22-inch wheels or nicer interior colors. These two and others are optional on the highest spec currently available to those people who were unwilling to pay for the limited-edition unit. However, it does include California Mode and Limo Mode as standard!

The cheapest Fisker Ocean has an MSRP of $37,499, but it transforms into a front-wheel-drive-only crossover SUV with only 250 miles of range. The $49,999 Ultra trim might be the obvious choice for many Americans searching for an EV. It loses only 20 miles of range but retains the dual-motor setup.

Finally, Fisker is also eyeing rapid European expansion, which might help the company gain more customers.

Car shows on TV and his father's Fiat Tempra may have been Florin's early influences, but nowadays he favors different things, like the power of an F-150 Raptor. He'll never be able to ignore the shape of a Ferrari though, especially a yellow one.
