Regardless, it's no secret that, if Ferrari plans to replace the GTC4 Lusso, the automotive producer hasn't got that much time to make it happen.
Of course, the introduction of the upcoming Ferrari SUV might mean the discontinuation of this blood line. Nevertheless, given the fact that all SUVs we've seen this far, Lamborghini Urus included, can't match the immersive driving experience of their not-so-high siblings, it would be a shame to see this happening.
Nevertheless, in order for a future 2+2 to coexist with the SUV, the first would have to see the engineers retracing the steps made with the FF and even going beyond that.
You see, the GTC4Lusso is noticeably more coziness-orientated than the FF it replaces and while the RWD, V8-animated T model is sportier than the "standard" V12 model, this would still not be enough to set its driving experience apart from that of a crossover.
Then again, these branches of the future Maranello lineup only make sense if Ferrari comes up with an SUV in the traditional sense of the concept - the Italians could always introduce some sort of jacked-up shooting brake, which would blue the line between the said traditional format and offerings such as the GTC4Lusso.
And we must keep in mind that the competition is only getting sharper. From the new McLaren GT (the name says it all) to rumors of Lamborghini's return to the continent-blitzing market, Grand Tourer lovers have plenty of reasons to rejoice.
