Good ol' Nick Cage wasn't available for the robbery of this Ferrari 348 which recently took place in Europe, but the lackeys he sent over seem to know what they were doing. In only about a minute, the prized Italian supercar is gone, and everything happens in broad daylight, which makes filming the whole thing quite easy.
dumpert.nl reports that the video was taken in the town of Maastrcht, the Netherlands. It seems that the carjackers have been linked to another robbery, this time a BMW 320d. Could the backwardness of that car's gearbox be the reason why the Ferrari first lurches in reverse?
According to the description of the Youtube video, the carjackers are Polish, though in the absence of a conviction we have no way of proving it. Russian or Polish, these "gentlemen" know exactly how to get the 2-decade old supercar moving, which makes you wonder about the security of your classic car.
The funny thing is, the video we're showing you is apparently a little old and one of the people commenting on the Dutch website posted a link of an Polish auction featuring a black Ferrari 348 GT with a black-top interior that was posted about three weeks ago. There's no way for us to know for sure. But what if…?
If you guys want to reference the song, it's the theme of an old Russian movie called Gentleman of Fortune. Fitting, really, for a video of a Ferrari being stolen!
