Japanese automaker Subaru has announced a £1,300 discount for its entry-level, 1.6-liter gasoline-powered, XV range in the United Kingdom.
Now priced starting from £19,995, the Impreza-based crossover can cost as much as £23,415 if the 1.6i SE Lineatronic model is selected. Previously, the 1.6-liter gasoline lineup, which comprises four variants, was priced between £21,295 and £24,715.
In addition, Subaru is also offering a three years’ interest-free credit program for the 2.0-liter gasoline and diesel XV models until the end of June. The offer includes delivery, registration plates, 12 months’ road fund licence and first registration fee. For instance, the £24,295 XV 2.0D S will require a deposit of £5,876 followed by 36 monthly payments of £295, and a final payment of £7,799.
“The XV has been equally well received by loyal Subaru buyers and customers new to the brand. Keener pricing and zero-per cent credit can only further strengthen its appeal,” said Haydn Davies, marketing director at Subaru UK.
