Don't Drink and Ride Should Be Even More Obvious Than Don't Drink and Drive

You need to sink the idea that you shouldn't be drunk driving while you're sober, because once the alcohol kicks in, you'll think you can do much more than that.
If the world went as tipsy people see it, then we'd all be able to perform brain surgeries, climb Everest, go to the Moon or become the next US president. Unfortunately, it doesn't, so we're left to study medicine for years before we can hold a scalpel, train really hard to tackle the Himalayas, convince Elon Musk the Moon needs revisiting, and... I just don't know what to think about that last one anymore.

The things drunk people think they can do fall in the same category as the ones fishermen and huntsmen say they have done. It's just a world of make-believe where they are the best at what they do, whatever that is. Hell, last time I sunk five beers I started speaking Chinese, so I know it to be true from first-hand experience.

This guy in the video below was a lot more restrained than that. He didn't try anything new or exaggerated - he just wanted to go home to his wife whom he told he was going out to get some bread a few hours ago. He wouldn't bring any bread, but he figured that should be the least of his worries once he got home, and he was probably right.

He also thought he could get there on his bike, something he had done many times before, the only difference being the alcohol vapors he now had in his brain. And they were the ones that told him to weave all over the road and press the brake intermittently. He didn't feel like arguing. Therefore, he complied.

He didn't notice the red light, but he had some trouble figuring out a way through those cars making a left turn, so he had to stop and wait for some input from the alcohol. Sadly for him, the vapors were a little sleepy, so they told him to lie down a little. And so he did. Repeatedly.

Whatever the guy in the camera car was doing, it wasn't the right thing which would have been to call the police. That man was clearly a hazard both to himself and everyone else on the street. Unless that sound at the end is him getting out and preventing the drunkard from climbing back on the bike, then he's just as guilty as him if anything bad happened.
