The time has come for the HEMI-powered Dodge Charger and Challenger to say goodbye. This is the “Last Call” for those who want one super sedan. Dodge is putting an end to production by the end of the year.
Only 13 days are left for those who want a Dodge with a HEMI engine. The dealers must submit all orders for the 2023 model year cars by the end of July.

“It’s truly the last call for the Last Call,” says Tim Kuniskis, Dodge CEO. “We’re making the end of an unforgettable era for Dodge, and time is running out for those who want a piece of it,” he warns.

Dodge revealed the “Last Call” limited edition models last year to give enthusiasts enough time to get their hands on a car with the insane HEMI under the hood. They mark the end of an era. It is the last chance for customers to buy a HEMI V8-powered car Charger or Challenger. Production will come to an end on December 31, 2023.

Five months away, seven special editions are available under the “Last Call” series. The 485-horsepower (492-PS) Scat Pack, the Charger King Daytona and Challenger Black Ghost with 807 horsepower (818 PS), the Challenger SRT Demon with 1,025 horsepower (1,039 PS), fastest and most powerful mass-produced ICE sedan in the world, are on the list.

Three heritage exterior colours will be back in the range: the B5 Blue, Plum Crazy purple, and Sublime green. There is also one popular modern paintwork, the Destroyer Grey.

The “345” badging will show up on the fender of the Charger and Challenger R/T as an indication of the 345-cubic inch HEMI engine displacement. All 2023 cars will come with a “Last Call” plaque installed under the hood.

It is the end of muscle cars as we know them. Dodge is getting ready to roll out electrified muscle cars with the 3.0-liter twin-turbo Hurricane engine instead of the iconic HEMI. The Hornet R/T sports a plug-in hybrid powertrain and that is exactly what the last unicorns Charger and Challenger are going to get.

The Hornet R/T will arrive on dealer lots this month as the brand’s first ever electrified performance model and the most potent compact SUV in the segment, at 288 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The PowerShot brings along 30 horsepower more on demand for a 5.6-second run from 0 to 60 mph (0-97 kph). A 15.5-kWh lithium-ion battery pack provides It with a 32-mile electric range.

To find a car that is available, customers can use the Horsepower Locator on DodgeGarage.com. They can choose anything from an entry-level version to a special edition and contact the dealer that has it to place the order.
