Car vs. Bike drag races have always been an attention magnet and this kind of sprinting brawl seems to enjoy more traction than ever nowadays. As such, we can now zoom in on a recent example of this, one that involves two go-fast behemoths, namely the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R.
Fortunately, the driver and the rider decided to get together at the drag strip. And by staying off the streets, the aficioando could keep things on the safe side and enjoy the prepped surface of the track.
The factory specs of the muscle car and the superbike are amazing and it's enough to mention their muscle numbers to illustrate that: 840 vs. 200 horsepower.
Nevertheless, both the Mopar toy and the Japanese beast have been gifted with a few mods, with these happening to come in handy at the strip.
For instance, the Demon packs a beadlock wheel rear axle conversion, which means it can put that muscle down pretty well from the very beggining - it's 6.2-liter V8 might have also been tweaked.
As for the ZX-14R, the bike comes with an elongated rear arm, even though this doesn't mean the rider gets to sleep when taking off.
Note that the two engaged in a race that favored the four-wheel contraption, since we're talking about the brief 1/8-mile here. Oh, and to make things even more difficult, the two use a pro tree to get things going.
P.S.: If you happen to be in a hurry and wish to skip straight to the car-vs-bike battle mentioned above, you should know this awaits you at the 6:56 point of the video. The rest of the video also packs drag racing action, with this coming from YouTuber Demonology, the gear head wielding the said Dodge Challenger SRT Demon.
