Chrysler has announced that it will be giving the all-wheel drive version of the Dodge Charger a new optional sport pack, as part of the 2013 model-year refresh. It will be available on SXT, SXT Plus, R/T and R/T Plus trims.
Fitted with the pack, the car gets a host of visual upgrades, which genuinely make it look a bit sportier. One of the standout features of the package is the new gloss black grille, which gives the front end an even meaner face than the regular car’s already menacing-looking snout.

To improve its appeal, when viewed from the side, the car also gets special 19-inch alloys, and a small body-coloured spoiler atop the boot lid. The interior gets some sporty touches, as well, including steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters (as well as more aggressive mapping for the eight-speed autobox), sports seats, which are either upholstered with cloth or leather, depending on the corresponding trim level.

For those interested, the pack costs $1,395 when fitted to SXT models, while R/T trim cars get it for $1,195. All in all, we say it is a good investment, for those who want a more bespoke look for their Charger, yet don`t want to make things too complicated by taking their car to a tuner and spending too much money in the process.
