The German sports car and SUV plus EV automaker is currently busy churning out novelties left and right with the arrival of the second-generation Macan as an EV luxury compact crossover SUV and the introduction of the refreshed Taycan with more power and range across the board. Alas, it's not all about zero-emission models.
For example, Porsche is currently busy testing several variants of the 911 facelift (992.2 series) with the 911 Convertible, 911 Targa, and 911 Turbo front and center in the line of sight of our spy photographer partners. All three were recently spied with minimal camouflage and were undergoing testing in a winter wonderland to make sure that everything worked fine at below-freezing temperatures.

That also means they're undergoing the final legs of their testing processes, and we can't be more than a few weeks or months from the moment they become official. Of course, Porsche is going to release the upgrades across the entire spectrum of variants – Carrera, Targa, GTS, Turbo, and Turbo S, both with and without AWD. Later on, most likely, they will also touch upon the GT3s because they were released a bit later down the product development line.

However, some fans might feel that Porsche could easily up the ante with an all-new variant arriving alongside the slew of updates. Some would probably prefer a traditional GT2 flagship release, but at least someone from across the imaginative realm of digital car content creators has a different opinion, and also, the CGI means to do something about it.

More precisely, the virtual automotive designer better known as a.c.g_design on social media recently tried to help the Porsche fanbase dream about what comes next for the 911 series. This pixel master was a bit undecided about what to call his design project, hence the Porsche 911 Taycan Edition, Porsche GTS, or Turbo GT monikers. You can select any of them because beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, and everyone's entitled to an opinion. However, one thing is for sure: this study depicts just one car, not three.

As for the digital credentials, they all include the Taycan-style headlights, gold wheels, a comprehensive black aerodynamic body kit culminating with a humongous rear diffuser and a quad-exhaust system located in the center, plus illuminated 'Porsche' script at the rear and a massive composite wing. However, if you're looking for clues as to what could be hiding under the ducktail, maybe we should be looking at the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT instead of the refreshed Taycan.

So, do you like where the design of this virtual project is going? Also, do you think that a 911 would look good with the Taycan Turbo GT headlights and other goodies plus the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine roaring in the back of the iconic Porsche coupe?
