Death Star's Architect Speaks about the Exhaust Ports Desing and It's Hilarious

If you haven't seen Start Wars (don't laugh, people like that actually do exist) up until now, don't waste one more second and go do it. I mean it, right now. And if you can get the original versions, all the better.
Now, back to the poor sod who thought that working for the Empire corporation was a good idea and probably went home to celebrate when he got the news he was going to design the next Death Star. Yes, we don't know his name, but we know he has a mustache so we'll call him... Burt Reynolds.

So, Burt was assigned with the small task of designing the largest space station ever. He gleefully got on the job, happy that his name will be forever remembered and oblivious of the fact he had literally the evilest people in the Galaxy as his bosses.

And Burt seemed to have done his job properly. The Death Star is up and operational, and it's perfectly capable of destroying whole planets. Nice.

But those pesky rebels have found the one single design flaw - the exhaust ports that happen to lead directly to the station's core. But according to Burt, that was no real flaw, it's all a big conspiracy.

We have to hand it to Burt: we've been wrongfully placing the blame on him all this time, when the real problem were... Magic Space Wizards. We have to give it to him: his explanation actually makes a lot of sense. We won't insist on it too much as it's better to hear it directly from Burt, but it might ruin your mood if you're a Star Wars fan happy with the way things stand at the moment.

You know, we actually feel bad it took all this time for his side of the story to surface. One of the first principles of journalism says you must check both sides of the story, and nobody seemed to have done that until now. Well, better late than never, huh, Burt?
