Let’s face it, guys, there’s not much you can do when your kid slowly approaches you in the evening and almost whispers something you can’t hear. That moment you know he's going to ask for something he wants really bad, and you’re probably going to say yes. It also the moment you think of that deposit you made for a long wished vacation.
The Millennium Falcon is possibly one of the veteran spacecraft in the movie, with a storied history stretching back to the decades before the Clone Wars and the rise of the Galactic Empire. The light freighter is always going to remain in Star Wars fans’ memory as the ship Solo and his Wookiee copilot, Chewbacca, flew during their smuggling careers and their subsequent work with the Alliance to Restore the Republic.

Leaving our preferences for Science-Fiction movies aside for a second, it’s safe to say this is one of the ships your kids dream of ever since you told them about the High School movie you used to watch with your wife. Now you are grown-ups you can’t just do that anymore, so the kids have taken over.

Created by Pottery Barn, the Millennium Falcon bed boasts straight-from-the-set Star Wars details, including the ship’s iconic cockpit shape, knobs and gauges. Not only is it made out of real wood, but it was also hand-painted and built to last through playtime after playtime.

Now, since we’re living in the 21st century, a world where marketing sometimes surpasses the product itself, we’re more than certain your kids have already seen one of those video trailers of the seventh installment in the main Star Wars films series. George Lucas may be off the producing and directing team, but some of the original actors such as Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker reprising their roles from previous Star Wars films.

The movie is scheduled for release on December 18, which means there’s enough time for you to save up enough cash. Even so, it may not be enough, considering the retail price is $4,000.
