Whenever someone takes their car into the shop, the last thing he or she would expect is to see that it has over 200 miles more on the clock on pick-up than when turned over. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened to Veronica Pief when she went to pick-up her Kia Soul.
Originally, Veronica didn’t notice the changes on the odometer but when she downloaded the footage recorded by the dash cam she had installed in her car, shocking footage emerged. Well, maybe we’re exaggerating a bit but bear with us.

The customer brought in the Kia to have her speed volume repaired as it seemed to be faulty. That fix, of course, would’ve needed some checking up afterwards but under no circumstance would it be justified to take someone’s car for a 17-hour long, 200-mile trip just to see if the radio volume adjusts to the speed of the car.

Unfortunately for Veronica, that’s what an employee did. This is definitely an unlucky resolution and we wouldn’t typically find it funny but, there’s a twist.

On the recording, we can actually hear the man sing to his favorite tunes. If that’s not funny or ironic enough, you should also know that the defect wasn’t fixed, rendering this whole ‘adventure’ utterly useless.

But wait, there’s more! Following this incident, the employee was fired, as you’d expect but that didn’t satisfy Veronica. She claims that the dealership should offer to pay for the remaining of her loan as a sort-of apology. Isn’t that a bit too much to ask for, though?
