BMWs and semi-wet roads make for a great combination if you know what you are doing. Most of the time people have too much faith in the car’s electronics and think that the DSC system will keep them in check in case something goes wrong with the rear axle.
However, on other occasions, people also tend to turn everything off and have some fun. We’re all for fun, don’t get us wrong, but not on public roads, no matter how masterful you think you are.
The thing is, from our own experience we can tell you that professional drivers never risk their pedigree and their status doing dangerous stunts on public roads.
And yet, every once in a while some daredevil shows up and ruins everyone’s day. What’s even worse about this one is that it fuels up all those people claiming BMW drivers are awful, inconsiderate of others and disrespectful in traffic.
From what we can tell this is possibly an E34 BMW 5 Series but we can’t be sure of the specifics. The driver also seems to have a fundamental idea of what he’s doing but as soon as he gets done drifting a couple of times in the roundabout he has an encounter we’re pretty sure he regretted. That’s right, a cop car that immediately turns its lights on. What could that possibly mean?
We hope the guy learned his lesson and will keep drifting but on a proper circuit from now on.
