An F1 car, any F1 car, is a really spectacular sight. Even when it’s standing still, it is still an exciting piece of kit. Put a modern F1 car onto the streets of New Jersey and New York and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a brilliant video. David Coulthard was tasked with driving the last year’s Red Bull Racing car, the RB7, on the streets of the city, and through the Lincoln Tunnel.
Why did Red Bull go to all the trouble? Well, the video promotes next year’s American Grand Prix, an event which is to be held in June, on a street circuit which runs through Port Imperial, the Hudson Palisades, Boulevard East, before descending back into Port Imerial.

The 5.2 km (3.2 mile) circuit will probably be one of the most spectacular in the 2013 F1 calendar, and we are very eagerly anticipating to see it. This video has only whet our appetites even more and it has done so in a big way!
