In an unprecedented feat in F1 history, the first six races of the season have been won by different drivers, with the latest driver to climb to the top spot of the podium being Australian driver, Mark Webber.
Mark qualified first, and then went on to lead the race from lights to checkered flag. With drivers looking to preserve their fuel and tires (as most cars only made only one pit stop), Mark Webber led a road(track) train of cars home to victory, with only 1.3 seconds separating him and fourth-place driver Sebastian Vettel.
Very close behind Mark, in 2nd place, Nico Rosberg crossed the line 0.6 seconds behind the leader, with 3rd place driver Fernando Alonso grabbing 15 points for Ferrari as he finished the race 0.9 seconds behind the leader. With the addition of these latest 15 points, Alonso is still 1st overall, after the first 6 races, with a total of 76 points, being followed by Sebastian Vettel in 2nd and Mark Webber in 3rd, with 73 points each.
Lewis Hamilton is a full 10 points behind Vettel and Webber only 4 points above Nico Rosberg who is currently 5th overall, having yet to win a race this season. Maybe his luck will turn around in Canada, where the 7th GP of 2012 is set to take place on June 10th.
