We’ll never get enough of meticulously customized CB750s, so let’s examine another one.
We can probably all agree on one thing; the almighty Honda CB750 is among the most popular donor bikes for custom undertakings, and for good reason. As time went by, we’ve had a plethora of CB750-based exploits adorn these very pages, many of which I’ve had the pleasure of bringing to your attention over the last few months.

Today, we’ll be taking a quick look at what the Bolt Motor Co. team managed to achieve with this remarkable piece of Japanese machinery. To be more concise, their project revolves around a 1994 model in Honda’s lineup. The stock bike is put in motion by an air-cooled DOHC inline-four boasting a healthy displacement of 747 cc and no fewer than sixteen valves.

At approximately 8,500 rpm, the engine will deliver as much as 73 hp to a five-speed gearbox, which feeds this respectable oomph to a chain final drive. On the other hand, the powerplant is perfectly capable of supplying up to 46 pound-feet (62 Nm) of crushing twist at 7,500 revs. Ultimately, this whole shebang enables the 1994MY CB750 to reach a generous top speed of 128 mph (206 kph).

As soon as the factory bodywork was discarded, BMC’s pros outsourced a beefy gas tank from an older CB750. At the rear end, the aforementioned unit is complemented by a slim tail section that was 3D-printed in-house. As the photos can attest, the tail follows the lines and ridge of the fuel tank to have the entire design come together as one piece.

Next, Valencia’s moto masters went about installing a set of custom CNC-machined triple clamps up front, along with a pair of Hagon shock absorbers on the opposite end. The airbox was removed to make way for pod filters, while Motogadget’s range was raided to obtain a Motoscope speedometer as well as an assortment of modern lighting items.

After equipping an aftermarket flat bar that offers incredible riding comfort, the crew moved on to the performance side of things. As such, they blessed the CB750’s powertrain with a fresh exhaust system, recalibrated carburetors and a comprehensive makeover.

Sure enough, everything came together quite nicely as this bad boy clearly looks the business!
