With all the hype that's been built around the Dodge Challenger Hellcat and its street racing side, people tend to forget just how quick the Challenger SRT8 392 is. The latest example of this kind comes from the video below, which shows one of these muscle cars gifted with bolt-ons.
The Challenger takes part in a street race (you know the drill - do not try this at home) that also involves a Fox Body Mustang. Fret not, your time will not be wasted by a stock Fox Body. This 'Stang has ditched its factory V8 for a Coyote heart.
In fact, the Mopar machine wasn't exactly stock either. The Dodge features a set of bolt-ons, even though the exact mods aren't specified.
Once the mandatory pair of burnouts is completed, the two slabs of America battle it out, but the Mustang driver misses a shift.
This is the part where we're inviting you to play a little game. Thanks to the complete piece of footage we have here, you'll be able to see how the two stacked up against each other before that failed shift, so you might want to come up with predictions on how the race would've gone if the stick action had been the right one.
If you happen to find the 420 hp Mustang (since the engine doesn't come with any mods we know of, we'll assume this is the power rating) familiar, it might be because we talked about it earlier this month.
As you can imagine, since this guy built his Fox Body, he enjoys putting the Blue Oval machine to work, so it's no wonder we came across one of his races again.
So if you're curious to see how fast this Mustang is when driven correctly, you can check out our original piece. Oh, and did we mention the previous race saw the Ford going up against a Challenger Hellcat?
