Consumer Reports Says New Mazda6 is Agile

There's no way to sugar-coat it: the 6 is a make or break model for Mazda in the US. The company has invested a lot of what little money it has into the development of a good mid-size that can compete at the top.
Before, the Mazda6 was a bland middle-of-the-road sort of car that wasn't going to win any awards for anything other than being relatively affordable.

But this latest model is much lighter than the old model, thus making it more agile, fuel efficient and clean. This and a range of Engine and transmission improvement are Mazda's claim to fame, under the banner of SKYACTIV.

The first independent review from Consumer Reports suggests the 2014 Mazda6 might be a decent car. Their preliminary tests suggest the car will be agile. It also seems well equipped, though non of its rivals are spartan or sluggish though.
