Right now, we’re on a rumor mill roller-coaster ride, after just finding out the alleged production date of May 3rd will be backed by the first deliveries finally kicking off sometime in June. It’s still during the summer, it’s still later than everyone would have wanted, but at least it’s not the final day of August.
Even better, the same leak also exposed the alleged production start date for the 2022 model year, which should see the first examples coming out the factory gates sometime this December.
And, if we’re to entrust our wit to this new report (do take it with a grain of salt, as always) from bronco6g.com, both model years will have that battery of “more than 200 factory-baked accessories” just about ready for prime time as well.
The accessories are a big enticement factor for the upcoming adventures - as shown by the main rival from Jeep – but Ford has been rather slow in adding them to the Build & Price online configurator tool. No worries, because we have five pages of PDF documentation (embedded below) for anyone looking to fully personalize the 2021 Bronco.
Better yet, there’s an almost complete and almost final list of prices, along with the part numbers. Unfortunately, those highlighted in red will have late availability, including the crazy Ford Performance Parts Tube Doors (our first pick from the entire list). They’re available as a kit for both the 2-Door and 4-Door, allegedly costing $840 and $1,350, respectively.
