When you’re college professor, earning respect from the young adults you are providing tuition to is anything but easy. However, one adjunct professor managed to easily nail the task and it’s all thanks to the car choice he made.
The man showed up to school in a 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo. You know, the track-savvy incarnation of Godzilla that has no issue being pitted against Italian and German metal that costs twice or three times as much.

As a result, the students are now going crazy over their professor's ride and have decided to take the story to Reddit. The student who took these photos of the Nismo machine says there are only 52 units of the car in the country. While we haven’t kept track of the exact number of Nismo GT-Rs arriving Stateside, the figure seems legit.

Nevertheless, with an MSRP of $149,990, this is pretty far from the somewhat affordable supercar tag that propelled the R35 GT-R onto the market. Of course, people are curious about how a professor can afford such a car and the explanation is rather simple. Turns out the man is actually an adjunct professor who comes from an affluent family.

Now that the curiosity has been satisfied , we can invite you to watch the images below and notice how the students roam around the JDM delight. As you can see, the car is adorned with a vanity plate that explains everything, just in case somebody missed that generously-sized rear wing.
