Chrysler is a mere shadow of its former self, as its lineup currently includes the Pacifica minivan and the aging 300 sedan in the United States. And it is the people carrier that has just stepped into the 2024 model year, featuring modest revisions and a few other changes.
According to the North American automaker, which operates under the roof of Stellantis, the Red Hot and Baltic Gray exterior paint finishes are new for the 2024 Pacifica. The Pinnacle range-topping trim level gets a new sepia interior hue with Nappa leather upholstery, Light Diesel stitching, and Sydney Gray piping. The new emergency vehicle alert system rounds off the updates on the normal ICE-powered series.

To absolutely no one's surprise, the Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid has survived the new model year. The electrified version of the minivan is only available in two trim levels this time, which are called the Select and Pinnacle, with the former replacing the Touring L and Limited grades of the 2023 model. Mind you, it does sound like an evolution of the Touring L, sporting LED headlamps, bi-tone 17-inch alloys, a power tailgate, power sliding doors, acoustic windows, and automatic windshield wipers.

On the inside, the Select version of the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica PHEV is offered with a 10.1-inch infotainment system, a 7-inch display in the instrument cluster, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, leatherette upholstery with heated front seats and eight-way power adjustment for the driver, captain's chairs on the second row, illuminated cup holders, a three-zone climate control system, six-speaker audio, and several other things.

Chrysler says the Pacifica has "the most standard safety features in its segment." These include stuff such as the pedestrian automatic emergency braking, 360-degree surround view camera, and park assist. The blind spot monitoring with rear cross path detection, forward collision warning plus, lane departure warning plus, adaptive cruise control with stop & go, and others are also on deck.

Powering the 2024 Pacifica is a 287 hp (291 ps/214 kW) and 262 lb-ft (355 Nm) of torque 3.6-liter V6 engine, hooked up to a nine-speed auto 'box and optional all-wheel drive. Boasting an electric driving range of over 30 miles (48 km), the PHEV model uses a 3.6-liter V6 with two electric motors for a total of 260 hp (264 ps/194 kW).

Pricing details have yet to be announced, but we will remind you that the 2023 Pacifica has an MSRP of $37,620 for the Touring, $41,775 for the Touring L, $49,050 for the Limited, and $54,380 for the Pinnacle. The Touring L and Limited versions of the 2023 Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid kicked off at $51,095 and $55,840, and for the Pinnacle, interested parties had to fork out at least $60,990.
