You don't need to do anything to get heads turning in a Chevy Corvette. Just turn the engine on and cruise down the street, and the car will do everything that needs to be done to steal the spotlight for pretty much any other car out there. However, Chevrolet is giving it a helping hand with three brand-new, exciting colors.
The three new colors will launch with the upcoming 2025 model year C8 Corvette. The lineup will include the Sebring Orange, Hysteria Purple, Competition Yellow. They will come to replace three colors currently present in the lineup of the 2024 model year.

However, "new" is not fully correct. Customers could also order the 2019 C7 Corvette and the 2020 through 2021 model year C8 in Sebring Orange, a shade that was subsequently replaced by the Amplify Orange.

Chevrolet took to social media to announce their arrival. The brand posted three photos, one of each color, but also offered a glimpse at the upcoming new wheel options for the Z51 and Z06 versions.

Meanwhile, the Competition Yellow was also available with the C4 Corvette. Now, it comes to replace the Accelerate Yellow Metallic with the new model year.

The only really new shade is the Hysteria Purple Metallic. We have yet to see which one it will replace. The Riptide Blue Metallic, which has already been retired from the lineup of other General Motors models, might be in pole position.

Chevrolet offers nine colors free of charge

There are 14 paintworks currently available in the C8 Chevrolet Corvette lineup. Nine of them, such as the Arctic White, Black, Silver, Torch Red, and Cacti Green are for free. Meanwhile, Chevrolet asks for $500 if you want your 'Vette painted Rapid Blue or Accelerate Yellow Metallic.

The Amplify Orange Tintcoat, Red Mist Metallic Tintcoat, and Sea Wolf Gray Tricot are all available for $995. Whoever goes for graphics such as Full Length Dual Racing Stripes in various colors will have to pay an extra $1,195.

With the 2025 Corvette, Chevrolet might also come up with a completely redesigned interior. New screens and a new button layout should be part of the plan. However, according to GMAuthority, the overhauled cabin might make its debut for the 2026 or 2027 model year.

The next model year, however, will not bring any changes to the powertrain. The Corvette Stingray will still be powered by the mid-mounted 6.2-liter V8 engine, pumping out 495 horsepower (502 metric horsepower) and 285 pound-feet (387 Newton meters) of torque.

Meanwhile, the range-topping Z06 is powered by the 5.5-liter V8 LT6, which delivers 670 horsepower (679 metric horsepower) for a run from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 kph) in just 2.6 seconds.
