Earlier today, we showed you a video that offered a pretty good view of the supercar fleet belonging to the Dubai Police. It seems that their vehicle pool is growing by the day as we are now back on the topic to write about a new patrol car.
This time, we are talking about a Chevrolet Camaro SS. While this may seem humble when compared to the Dubai Police’s Ferrari FF, for example, it still has a muscular V8 under its hood.
The 6.2-liter unit can pack a pretty good punch, as we found out when we drove the Camaro SS Convertible. The 0 to 62 mph game is played in 4.7 seconds and the in-gear acceleration is also pleasing.
Just like in the case of the other exotics driven by the Dubai Police, it would be interesting to see how a criminal is transported in the Camaro, as the vehicle doesn’t seem to come with protection for the officer’s compartment.
